ICAI CA Result May 2025 Live Updates: Results of CA Foundation, Intermediate and final results will be declared today (July 6)
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has already confirmed the release of CA Final, CA Intermediate and CA Foundation results of May 2025 session will be announced on August 6, 2025. A relief to thousands of CA aspirants who had appeared the tests at the different centres in India, this much-awaited announcement was made.
Result Timings: Final & Inter at 2 PM, Foundation at 5 PM
According to the formal announcement of ICAI and past traditions, the CA Final results and CA Inter results will be declared at around 2:00 PM IST, whereas the CA Foundation results will be announced at 5:00 PM IST in the same day. The results of the candidates will be updated in the official ICAI websites at the mentioned times, it is the advice of candidates to visit those websites and gain results.
Where and How to Check the Results

To access the result, candidates need to enter their Roll Number, Registration Number (or Date of Birth/PIN), and complete the captcha verification.
Passing Criteria and Distinction Rules
In order to pass, candidates should obtain at least 40 percent in every subject and have an average of 50 percent and above in the group. Anyone who scores 70% on average in one of the attempts will be granted a distinction. To students of CA Intermediate who pass the two groups simultaneously with 55 per cent or above a merit certification and all-India rankings are also provided.
After Result: Membership and Placement Opportunities
Once one passes the CA Final, he can now apply to become a member of the ICAI which is necessary to practice as a Chartered Accountant. Moreover, ICAI through its campus placement program which is going to be held in August-September 2025, will also be open to those qualified. This program presents career opportunities in leading firms in the several industries.
Requesting Answer Sheets and Re-evaluation
The students desiring to check their performance have an option to get certified copies of their answer books through the ICAI Self-Service Portal (SSP). This should be done within 30 days of the date of result and the cost is 500 rupees per paper.
