Joint Seat allocation authority (JoSAA) has announced JoSAA round 4 seat allotment result. After JoSAA login at josaa.nic.in, the candidates can verify the allotted institute and branch. The candidates allotted round 4 seats have to pay the seat acceptance fee (SAF) by July 9.
The SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, and SC-PwD or ST-PwD candidates must pay INR 1500 of seat acceptance fee, and the rest can pay INR 30,000.
The document checking will begin only after SAF has been paid. The payment of fee, uploading of document and response by candidate on queries (in case of any), should be done by July 9. Candidates so selected to get a seat in round 1 will have a choice of either freezing the seat, floating the seat or sliding the seat.
- Freeze: Take this option when you feel happy with a given seat, and you do not need to go on to other rounds.
- Float: It is best when you want to gain eligibility to this seat but have some selections that you are willing to consider in the other rounds (course and institute).
- Slide: You have chosen this option in case you accept this seat though you are willing to upgrade your branch to a preference higher of the same institute
